UBC TUITION INCREASE PROTEST
Organized by CUPE 2278 and Climate Justice UBC, a student-led protest campaigning against the proposed increase of tuition took place in December of 2022. Beginning outside the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre, the protest eventually made its way inside and rallied outside the meeting room in which votes were being cast by UBC Officials on whether to raise tuition.
